Founded in 1982, TOSSEYE KESHT ZORRAT (ICMD) or Iranian Company for Maize Development has been at the forefront of corn cultivation and seed production in Iran. Over nearly four decades, our dedication to innovation, quality, and sustainability has earned us the trust of Iranian farmers and established us as a leader in the industry.
Our journey began with expanding cultivation areas through mechanized farming. We then focused on improving seed quality by establishing industrialized drying plants and diversifying varieties to suit Iran's diverse climates. Today, we continue to enhance seed quality with advanced processing, high purity standards, and superior packaging.
With state-of-the-art facilities in Kermanshah and branches across Khuzestan, Fars, Qazvin, and Tehran headquarter, we produce 30% of high-quality seeds for the Iranian market annually and also have an export presence in regional markets. Our commitment to excellence is backed by certifications from international organizations, including the OECD and ISTA certifications.
Our Mission
Our goal is to pioneer Iran's corn seed industry by conducting ongoing research and development to introduce new, high-yielding varieties of both domestic and foreign origin. We actively invest in innovation—registering and certifying new varieties, improving seed purity, and utilizing cutting-edge technologies—to meet the demands of modern agriculture.
Our Vision
Recognizing water scarcity and climate challenges, our long-term vision is to develop sustainable strategies to increase corn crop water productivity. We aim to expand our product portfolio by producing diverse forage seeds, meeting the country’s growing need for animal protein and healthier diets. Through continuous innovation and dedication, we aspire to support our country and MENA region.
